Our Dallas, TX client is looking for a Process Improvement Manager:

This exempt position will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and leading process improvement opportunities and strategies for cross-functional groups in concert with department heads. The Process Improvement Manager will also be responsible for increasing productivity, reducing operational expenses, improving client satisfaction, and will work on continuous process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities included but not limited:
Assist the department heads with identifying opportunities for improvement and define a plan to take advantage of these opportunities preferably by employing Lean Six Sigma methodology and analytics to execute on these opportunities
Take the lead on various metrics and reporting initiatives including bi-weekly Projects Status Reporting
Participate in the evaluation of periodic performance data to identify trends and opportunities to improve departments’ performance, efficiency, and solutions tailored to meet client need
Provide integration for firm strategic initiatives across departments
Assess business problems and recommend best course of action (strategic and tactical), utilizing structured, disciplined and data oriented process to identify root cause and solve problems
Lead the development of project design/requirements and establishment of primary deliverables to timeline
Evaluate project status and resources and make recommendation to implement changes that would improve the team’s effectiveness
Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with all levels within the firm.

Qualifications:
Ability to provide direction and management of project activities
Strong communication, facilitation and negotiation skills required
Strong skill in the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
Data process modeling, knowledge of competition, industry happenings and knowledge of how the firm is positioning itself is a plus.
Ability to collaborate with all levels within the firm
Exhibits strong political acumen
Ability to accept accountability for performance measure in accordance with goal
Ability to work independently with focus towards overall vision and direction
Strong project management, planning and organization skills are essential
Working knowledge of general database concepts
Proven experience working in a complex technology/systems environment
Strong problem solving and analytical skills are essential

Specific Requirements:
The Process Improvement Manager should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Business or Information Systems with a minimum of 5 +years of work experience with business operations or systems development, or equivalent combination of education and experience. PMP certification required. Experience in the areas of business process review, business process improvement and re-engineering concepts and practices are required
Skills:
HTML, SQL Server and Lean Six Sigma preferred.
