Our client in Dallas, TX Is looking for a Production Line Manager for a large supply chain solutions firm:

We are currently looking for an experienced “Product Line Manager” with a deep knowledge of ‘Materials Planning/Mgmt’.

This is an aggressive, energetic organization (100+ employees) with immediate needs and significant growth potential. The candidate will be responsible for hosted, Supply Chain Enterprise Applications (which will draw from their knowledge of Materials Planning/Mgmt), assisting in the sales of those applications, and will support a growing customer base of more than 29,000 companies.

Responsibilities:
Deep understanding of the domain for full Materials Mgmt/Planning lifecycle
Ability to demonstrate via the product best practices and fit to specific customer needs
Perform light modeling and configuration
Define Product direction (roadmap) including competitive analysis
Define and justify Product value proposition
Map business opportunities to product functionality
Convey market requirements to software development team
Able to write a structured use case that correlates business and product requirements.
Capture requirements and support realization through development team.
Strong Presentation and demonstration skills a must.

Intermediate negotiation skills to make effective trade-offs around scope, quality, cost/schedule, product advocate for the market colleagues, customer, partners, industry experts, competition. Work closely with software engineers to convey requirements, closely track feature development roadmap.

8+ years of professional experience and a deep understanding of all of the following:
Materials Planning/Mgmt, features, functions, and architectures.
Insight into customer pain points, and feature criticality
Product-specific responses to RFPs – experience, domain knowledge, skills, education, tools, software development, process to manage the functionality issue management
BS in Operations Research, computer science, engineering, or other technical field is required. MS is a plus.
Location: US-TX-Dallas. Current Dallas
Travel: 25% travel to visit remote teams.
