Our Plano client is looking for a Property Accountant on a direct hire basis.This position will report to the Controller.
General Job Functions:
This position will be responsible for the general accounting duties and financial reporting for assigned properties.
Summary of Position:
Accurately record monthly revenue, royalty, and transportation costs for assigned properties
Perform royalty payment processing for assigned properties
Prepare reconciliations and variance analysis for property activities
Cooperate with other departments in providing information as required or requested
Document processes and procedures for revenue and royalty accounting
Support Owner Relation inquiries
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance required
Must have 1-3 years of relevant experience
Oil and Gas accounting experience required
CPA highly preferred
Public Accounting experience highly preferred
Strong Excel skills
