Our South Austin, TX client is looking for a QA Editor for a Contract to Possible hire opportunity. This is a company that is growing quickly and provides a fun and dynamic team atmosphere.

Current Job Responsibilities:
Reviewing published and in-production eLearning lessons to ensure product functions as intended and meets established standards and conventions; checking navigation for proper flow.
Reviewing audio against script to ensure accuracy of narration; ensuring timing of animated elements is appropriate and matches audio
Reviewing user interface and content screen layouts, fonts, and colors for consistency with standards and within individual lessons; inspecting on-screen text and audio text for proper grammar and typos
Reviews multiple Medias of deliverables including: PowerPoint, eLearning, and Mobile products.
Prep documentation and other assets for writers, and graphic designers.
Create and execute test scenarios; select the best methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for testing
Test eLearning functionality and navigation, identify and document issues
Document errors in a self-explanatory manner and apply effective QA fixes
Publish and test learning activities on the Learning Management System (LMS) in accordance with established QA procedures.
Contributing to continuous process improvement through making appropriate recommendations.

Skills & Experience:
Two to three years of experience within QA Editor Role
College degree strongly preferred
Must have worked previously in a QA environment with practical knowledge of human-computer interaction.
Effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills.  Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel and company management.
Ability to work independently; detail oriented, and well organized
A meticulous approach to their work and an eye for design
Team player with the ability to make independent decisions within the framework and guidelines of the organization
Demonstrate a “can do” attitude around multiple projects and simultaneous requests
Business and result oriented and a desire to work in a dynamic and adaptable environment
Committed to the importance of quality
Ability to understand technical content
Familiarity with tools for technical content development and delivery such as Microsoft Word (customized templates), Adobe Acrobat, Articulate Presenter and Storyline, Microsoft PowerPoint, WebEx, etc.
