Frontline Source Group – temporary staffing and direct hire firm – is looking for a Quality Control/Documentation Specialist for our Spicewood, TX client on a contract to possible hire basis.
Job Qualifications and Duties:
Associate Degree or equivalent experience in electronics technology and/or 1 to 5 years prior experience in a manufacturing organization
Knowledge of electronic components and ability to read and understand specifications for products such as crystals, filters, oscillators and microwave components is preferred
Able to perform incoming and outgoing quality control inspection of electronic components according to specifications and internal procedures
Familiar with Electronics Industry Standard Environmental Compliance Regulations and Requirements-ROHS (Restriction on Hazardous Substances) REACH-Registration, Evalutiaon, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical Substances: Dodd-Frank Act (conflict materials)
Support the internal Sales and Engineering Teams by providing applicable technical and/or environmental compliance documentation upon request
Ability to effectively communicate with Customers via email, phone regarding technical and/or environmental compliance inquiries or general product questions
Ability to effectively communicate with Asia-Based Production Facilities regarding technical and/or environmental compliance inquiries or product quality issues. Bi Lingual Mandarin Chinese is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must: Computer skills (MS Office programs; Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential).
