Our Downtown Houston, TX client is seeking a Receptionist to join their team on a Temporary to Possible Hire basis.
This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing Oil & Gas company, gain invaluable experience, and be the face of the company in a prestigious high-rise office. This position carries many responsibilities and requires someone who is very capable at multi-tasking. The ideal candidate will have previous receptionist experience in a professional environment, is extremely reliable, has the ability to support multiple departments, and is highly detail-oriented.
Primary Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors and guests, directing them to appropriate personnel and always maintaining a welcoming and professional demeanor
Handle multi-line phones and redirect calls with politeness and professional etiquette
Ensures reception and kitchen areas are kept organized and professional in appearance
Serve as administrative support for various departments within the company
Requirements
HS diploma and some college is preferred
2+ years receptionist experience in a professional environment
Intermediate to Advanced experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities with ease
Exceptional professionalism and customer service skills
Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills/phone etiquette
