Our client in Dallas, TX Is looking for a Regional IT Manager for an international telecom organization:

Specific Requirements
Degree standard capabilities desired
Professional IT qualifications beneficial, i.e. MCTS, CCNA, ITIL
Experience managing teams and IT environments
Knowledge of Networking, Datacentre, and Microsoft technologies
Minimum 3 years’ Service Desk experience
Flexible and proactive attitude
Ability to communicate at all levels
Good customer service skills
ITIL process knowledge
Experience working with large suppliers and negotiating contracts
Capable of multitasking and handling load under pressure
Experience of hardware and software asset management

Responsibilities & Duties

Running of all Americas Region offices IT systems and procedures, including:
Full ownership of the Americas Service Desk
Completion of Incidents/Problems as agreed within SLAs
Maintain all Corporate, Development & Production IT services to agreed standards including:
Device Lab Infrastructure and Environment
VMware estate, SCCM, Active Directory & IP Telephony system
Datacentre rooms
Desktops, Laptops & Mobile Phones
Managing cost, aid in delivering all regional IT projects to time and budget
Adhere and enforce Company ITIL procedures
Supplier management of 3rd party suppliers / contractors
IT Compliance to customer contracts
Hardware & Software lifecycle management
Backup and Offsite Lifecycle
Create and maintain procedures and documentation for the IT department
Maintenance and deployment of all office equipment, e.g. printers & patch panels
Service Desk calls diagnosis, and escalation to other team members if required
Regional hardware and software asset management
Compliance and enforcement of SLAs
Regional IT OpEx & CapEx Budget management
Implement and enforce IT policies
