Our Chicago, IL client is seeking a Sales Engineer.

Responsibilities:
-
Responsible for working with the sales team and customers to design hosting environments using best practices methodologies.

Responsible for identifying the customer’s issues and aiding the sales team in presenting logical hosted solutions.
-
Participate in weekly deal review meetings with the Operations team to open communication between teams and provide a forecast for incoming orders.
-
Participate in industry and customer events as a technical resource.
Requirements:
-
3-5+ years datacenter operations experience
-
Background in IT infrastructure, systems, software or network experience
-
Experience in sales operations or customer facing consulting positions
-
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
-
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internally within other departments
-
Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and staff requests
-
Certifications with Microsoft, Cisco, VMware or other industry leaders
-
Experience and familiarity with products / services in the hosting industry
-
Knowledge of virtualization technologies and providers
-
Fluency in secondary languages
