Our Spring Branch, TX client is in need of a Marketing/Sales Assistant for a Direct Hire opportunity.

SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting CEO and COO with requested tasks. Develops, writes, and designs marketing proposals for potential and existing clients. Requires independent work ethic with quality and consistent task completion, high level of organization, creative marketing skills, and heavy travel with CEO and COO.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create sales proposals, and prepare presentations
Develop sales materials
Assist Business Development with marketing letters and emails
Conduct business conversations with business owners, decision makers and executives
Understand sales proposal models in order to create proposals, presentations, and contracts.
Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans, as needed.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Travel with CEO and/or COO approximately 50% of the time (especially during training)
Attendance and participation in various networking events including dinners,  drinks, charity events, golf tournaments, account special events, employee engagement events, etc.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Calendar management for executives
Travel arrangements
Create, review, and summarize reports

Requirements:
2-5 years of experience directly in Marketing or in Marketing or Sales Support
Must have experience making travel arrangements for leadership, including airfare, hotel, and rental car reservations
Social Media experience
Superior computer skills in both PC and Mac OS work environments, including: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Keynote, Pages, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Ability to develop oral presentations, and create, compose, refine, and edit written materials.
Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques. This is normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree or three to five years of sales/marketing experience.
Maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
Work requires moderate travel, either with CEO and/or COO, or independently. This requires the possession of a valid state driver’s license within 60 days of employment, and the ability to travel by air or other forms of transportation as needed.
Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, evenings, weekends, and overnight travel.
Bachelor’s degree in sales or marketing related field from an accredited institution preferred.  This requirement may be waived with previous experience.
