Our Fort Worth, TX client is seeking a Senior Accountant II- External Reporting. This position assists in the timely preparation of all SEC filings, is responsible for all governmental reporting, performs monthly equity and cash flow reporting and assists with the coordination of the external audit process.

Responsibilities:
- Assists in drafting SEC filings,
- Assists in technical accounting research, including preparation of related memorandum documentation,
- Prepares footnotes for various external financial reports,
- Prepares and reports monthly statement of cash flows,
- Prepares and reports monthly weighted average share calculation for EPS,
- Coordinates with external auditors for quarterly reviews and year-end audit process,
- Performs account and variance analysis, and
- Special projects and other duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Accounting,
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in Big 4 or combination of Big 4 and industry accounting experience,
- CPA required,
- Skilled in US GAAP and SEC reporting rules and regulations required,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong technical writing skills,
- Strong Interpersonal skills and attention to detail are critical to success in this role,
- Ability to handle a dynamic work environment with competing priorities, and
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel a plus.
