Senior HRIS Analyst – Dallas TX

Our client in Dallas, TX is looking for a Senior HRIS Professional for a direct hire opportunity.  This is a leading company in the energy industry headquartered in Dallas.  The selected candidate will have the following skill set:

SUMMARY:
Responsible for Human Resource Information System duties and assignments for the Human Resources (HR) Department under limited supervision.  Analyzes, maintains, and evaluates the SAP HCM HRIS for the organization.  Monitors system performance, end-user activities, data integrity and interfaces to other systems with IT and third party vendors to resolve problems.  Provides system expertise, direction and training for team members as well as end users.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Leads HRIS implementations and enhancement projects as assigned by Manager
Serves as an HRIS subject matter expert
Researches, identifies, recommends, and implements system and process improvements including areas where data accuracy and efficiency can be improved
Identifies data integrity issues through regular auditing and analyzes data flows for process improvement opportunities
Develops and designs enhancements requiring analysis, specifications, documentation, and training plans for end users
Gathers requirements and provides analysis, testing, coordination of user acceptance testing, and implementation of enhancements, system fixes, interfaces, and conversions
Reviews new requests for enhancements in collaboration with IT and 3rd party vendor and ensures the requests and system changes are consistent with the HRIS strategies, are optimal business and system practices as well as the appropriate technology available
Provides supplemental training development and classroom delivery to the end users
Develops ad-hoc reports and queries for end users and liaises with IT on custom requests
Troubleshoots end-user issues in HRIS modules and interfaces, and corrects errors while providing guidance and training to the end user.  Conducts root cause analysis of reoccurring issues
Prepares, coordinates and liaises with IT on bulk data loads to SAP PA and/or OM for projects and annual administration

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
4+ years experience analyzing, maintaining, and implementing SAP HCM modules required
Bachelor’s Degree in four year program or equivalent related work experience
Experience with various SAP HCM modules including but not limited to PA, OM, MSS, ESS, and Payroll
Senior-level power user HRIS experience and knowledge required in implementations, enhancements, system improvements, and testing. Knowledge in HR principles and the ability to analyze and apply this knowledge as it pertains to the Company and HRIS
Solid computer skills, including advanced skill level in MS Excel and other reporting tools such as standard system reports and Business Intelligence with demonstrated experience using MS Excel’s v-lookup and pivot table functions
Excellent customer service, negotiations, and organizational skills
Self-starter with drive and ability to achieve planned objectives
Ability to handle confidential information including Protected Health Information and all applicable compliance issues in relation to relevant HIPAA regulations.
Org Publisher software experience a plus
ADP Reportsmith reporting tool experience a plus
BEX analyzer hands on experience a plus
Up to 20% travel may be required
