Our client in Dallas, TX Is looking for a Senior QA Engineer:
The Senior QA Engineer will be a member of the Quality Assurance team for client’s Supply Chain products. He/She will lead a team of onshore and offshore testers for testing and certifying products coming from the development department.
Managing the testing of a release, from analyzing and reviewing technical requirements, developing a testing strategy, creating a test plan, estimating resources, executing the test plan using onshore and offshore resources and completing the application evaluation on time and within budget
Formulating the automation strategy
Submit periodic status reports and presenting data to the management for a go/no go decision
Mentoring QA team members on QA knowledge, techniques and methodologies
Motivating the QA team and ensuring their performance and skills are top notch
BS/MS in Computer Science, QA Certification/ PMP Certification a plus
5+ years experience in testing with 2 -3 in leading a test team
2+ years experience in Automation, Selenium experience a plus
Should have managed testing of a release from requirements to go live
Strong analytical problem solving skills
Knowledge of automation approaches and strategies. Experience with Quality Center, Selenium, Unit testing a plus
Knowledge of programming languages like VB, with Java, Python or Ruby a plus
Experience in reviewing specifications, formulating testing strategies and creating test plans, test cases
Strong motivational leader and role model
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Functional knowledge of SCM, ERP, CRM. is a plus
QA Certifications like ISTQB, CSTE, CMST is a plus
Should have taken any QA course, or attended seminars, or any self study on QA Body of Knowledge.
