Our San Antonio, TX client is seeking a Social Media Director to join their team on a Direct Hire basis.
Primary Expectations:
Develop and manage the Social Media strategy for a large local church. Facilitate the adoption of relevant Social Media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of the company’s products and services. Generate strong social media awareness for video & non-video products through industry specific research, development and a strong understanding of analytic measurements.
Monitor trends in Social Media, acting as company spokesperson within the Social Media arena. Stay current with emerging social media technologies.
Work with the Marketing Department to coordinate the planning of online marketing campaigns
Create, develop and manage content for organization’s web presence
Develop and oversee search engine optimization for organization’s web presence. This includes keyword research, on and off-page optimization, and link building.
Keep current with search ranking factors and critical updates across a variety of search engines. Work closely with IT team to implement strategy into websites. Ensure that all websites and internet properties are continually optimized to attract and engage those visitors that closely match the agreed profile of the target audience.
Promote both offsite and onsite web activities and also the interactions that build ranking, profile and traffic.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. Marketing and Social Media
Daily use of professional Traffic programming gear
RTS system, basic editing and keying, routing, and basic computer coding for SEO duties
Extensive knowledge in strategy for social media sights is required, though basic computer skills are needed to monitor and communicate via platforms.
