Job Summary:
Successful candidates should possess a strong background in Java/J2EE development. We are looking for exceptional talent, high creativity, and self-motivation.
Essential Functions:
Hands-on involvement in every phase of development: design, code, test and document software.
Organize requirements into development tasks.
Refine existing designs and implementations.
Work on meaningful and challenging projects with real world impact.
Education:
BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain
Experience:
Experience with server-side java technologies such as JDBC, Servlets, JSP, REST 3+ years
Experience with web client technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX, ExtJS, 3+ years
Familiarity with SQL and Oracle
Strong analytical problem solving skills
Strong Object Oriented Programming skills
Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
Understanding of software design patterns, J2EE components (EJB, JSP, Servlets), and XML
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, support
Prior experience in development or consulting with an enterprise software vendor is a plus
Functional knowledge of supply chains, logistics, order management, etc. is a plus
