Manager Gas Supply Planning – New Orleans LA

Frontline Source Group  – temporary staffing and direct hire firm – is looking for a Manager of Gas Supply Planning for our  New Orleans, LA client on a direct hire basis.

Responsibilities
Advanced level position responsible for managing and developing design day, seasonal, annual and multiple year load forecasts. Supervise planning and forecasting group. Required to provide regulatory testimony supporting the company’s forecasts and decisions.
Develop a common corporate strategy around load forecasting and capacity planning.
Develop models and templates for forecasting to be used enterprise wide.
Utilize proprietary load forecast to manage all aspects of load planning including; pipeline capacity determination, daily supply requirements, Peak day needs, monthly supply requirements, and annual supply requirements. Create and maintain daily volumetric database.
Provide other business units with regulatory support for data requests including historical weather and volumetric data. May serve expert witness and give testimony before state commissions.
Creates short-term forecasts to assist with daily purchase decisions.
Assists with maintenance and tracking of divisional hedging plans. Develops financial models to track and maintain hedging results. Serves as backup for financial hedging execution agreements.
Reviews and updates contracts and contract database as needed. Assists with contract negotiations.
Develops and monitors functional area budgets to ensure efficient utilization of resources. Plans and directs the achievement of area goals and objectives within established company policies.
Maintains adequate staffing levels to ensure proper administration of activities. Selects, develops, trains, motivates and evaluates the performance of assigned employees.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
10+ years progressively responsible related experience in natural gas industry
Requires the ability to communicate, persuade and/or influence internal and/or external customers at a high level such as senior management on matters of a technical and/or complex nature.
Requires the ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages and simple statistical methods
Requires working knowledge of various software applications to create documents, reports and/or graphics.

Solidworks 3D Cad Designer – Fort Worth TX

Ability to create complex machined components including detail drawings, assemblies from redline markups, sketches and or verbal instructions using Inventor 3D or equivalent
Strong understanding of engineering change processes and documentation to clearly communicate changes through the manufacturing facility
Perform engineering analysis on the unit
Insure that customer specifications are met for all projects
Work daily with manufacturing supervisors to troubleshoot design issues and modify as needed
Maintain and update current CAD drawings as needed
Occasional travel to customer sites to analyze and troubleshoot design issues
Participate in production meetings related to engineering and design issues
Work closely with Purchasing to insure that they have the necessary information to purchase equipment

Requirements:
College Degree required; BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred
Strong knowledge of 3D Software, particularly Solidworks
Familiar with Excel
Minimum of 3 years of design and 3D modeling experience
Oil and Gas experience a plus
Familiar with DoT CAD requirements

Your role with the company:

In the long term, this role could grow into a VP-level position where responsibilities would include developing the sales organization further, creating new marketing activities to promote the company brand, and open new regional distribution.

Background profile:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Sales Management role
Exposure to Oil & Gas, OCTG, and/or the Steel industry is highly preferred
Consultative selling approach and ability to communicate effectively with executive level customers and partners
Expertise in structuring sales quotas and revenue expectations

Our Houston, TX client is looking for an HR Generalist on a Direct Hire basis.

This position requires a hands-on individual comfortable working in all areas of the human resources disciplines. The ideal candidate is an individual with excellent oral and written communication skills, in-depth knowledge of human resources operations, compliance, and experience creating policy and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:
Develop, update, and implement the policies and procedures of the firm handbook(s) as assigned.
Prepares internal employee communications regarding company policies as assigned.
Provide direction and problem solving support to managers/attorneys on employee relation issues.
Consult with managers/attorneys to develop effective documentation for performance improvement/disciplinary documents.

Prepare responses to third party complaints. Coordinate with internal legal staff and the Manager of Human Resources.

Assist in conducing staff new hire orientation.
Process improvements within the internal structure of the human resources department to increase efficiencies.
Identify training needs and coordinate with professional development and training departments on training matters.
Collaborates with the hiring manager/supervisor to identify and assess specific hiring criteria.
Assist in developing, implementing, updating, and auditing the recruiting processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain sourcing relationships and activities to ensure the company has a strong staff candidate flow.
Conduct performance based interview screens for staff openings.
Coordinate with the Manager of Human Resources to obtain background checks, review, and approve results.
Manage employee benefits including, but not limited to health insurance, life insurance and ST/LT Disability

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with related studies in Human Resources. PHR Certificate is highly desirable, but not required.
5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel

Accounting Administrative Assistant – Houston TX

Our West Houston, TX client is in need of an Accounting Administrative Clerk on a Direct Hire basis. 

This is a growth position that supports the Vice President and includes duties in payroll, accounting, and human resources.  The ideal candidate will have Oil & Gas industry experience, a great team attitude, and the initiative necessary to be successful in a small team.

Key Responsibilities:
Answer and direct phone calls, mail, filing system upkeep, and office supply ordering.
Assist with new employee orientation information packets; reviewing company policies.
Prepare payroll; calculate pay reflecting increases, vacation and sick time; gather withholding and other payroll information; distribute withholding checks.
Record merit increases; track vacation, sick, and personal time and report to Human Resources department.
Provide employees with application information for benefits programs; provide help with form completion, explain and obtain signatures for benefit programs; submit completed forms to HR and notify employees of approvals.
Complete accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks
Match delivery tickets, BOL (Bill of Lading) for delivery of materials
Track capital project costs for equipment fabrication.
Track and monitor monthly expenses and generate monthly financial statements.
Prepare and issue POs for the purchase of office supplies and mechanical parts for the fabrication shop.
Perform customer service duties to enter customer orders and generate customer invoices
Ad hoc projects as necessary

Position Requirements:
2+ years of Administrative & Accounting experience
Ability to handle confidential matters with maturity and professionalism
High degree of initiative and responsibility
Can work with little supervision and manage long/short term projects
Experience with QuickBooks and EPICOR is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to prioritize, works well under deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities
Must have exceptional interpersonal skills
Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel and Word

Contract Review Manager – South Houston TX

Our South Houston, TX client is in need of an Contract Review Manager on a Direct hire basis.

Position Summary:
The Contract Review Manager is responsible for all contracts and credentialing of contracted business. The Contracts Review Manager is responsible for the planning, development, tendering, appropriate approval, and award/execution and post award administration of various contracts. The Contract Review Manager is in charge of all contracts made by a company to insure that no one makes a contract or signs a contract that does not comply with the company’s policies along with any government rules that might apply. The Contract Review Manager does have other administrative and analytical duties as required.

Essential Functions:
Gather financial and insurance based submittal required documentation for new customer MSA’s
Manage new customers legal agreement process utilizing company standard MSA if new customer does not have a standard agreement format
Pull Dunn & Brad reports to ensure credit review process is completed on all new customers
Set-up New Customer records in Viewpoint after review
Issue Customer MSA and or Project Specific COI’s and ensure they are maintained on the O drive & PVault
Coordinate contract delivery methods (hand, fed-ex, email, etc.)
Ensure appropriate signatures are obtained on all Contract and Review Sheets received and/or Contracts delivered to a customer
Maintain original contract files in office and in the system
Oversee contract and proposal review process following award of construction projects
Document scope of work and schedule for contract jobs awarded are adhered to by company
Provide all back-up for job number setup to AR once project is awarded
Ensure bonds and permits are obtained if required
Search properties/logistics if needed for projects awarded
Assist with remote operation planning, coordinate with HR, IT, and Purchasing Managers
Monitor WIP reports and keep Project Management up to date
Ensure internal Sox compliance documentation is being met/adhered to by company for contracts and projects awarded
Work with Department Managers and IT Manager on employee access and training setup with View Point and PVault systems for JCG compliance
Respond to credit inquires on our customers from vendors
Monitor companies Dunn and Brad Street Score
Work with purchasing and accounting to assure compliance of all subcontractor agreements, and insurance documentation
Work with Program Manages and AR Group to ensure deadlines and schedules are met on contract projects (i.e. invoice submittals, status reports required, completion affidavits, etc.)
Other duties as requested by management

Minimal Job Requirements:
Experience in the field of contracts and legal experience, specifically in oil and gas or pipeline industries.
Three to five years of professional-level contract experience with SOX compliance
Must show proficiency with contract language, copyright principles and computer systems.
Must have excellent writing skills in order to write contracts but also to do communication with clients and office personnel.
Ability to work with team members, under pressure, and achieve deadlines and end-of-the-month results consistently.
Suitable mental aptitude to compute business math formulas and to enter financial data and other information into PC programs, as designated. Ability to compose letters and memos as directed. This position will require a self-starter that can meet or exceed deadlines.

Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier’s reputation and history.
Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices.
Monitor and follow applicable laws and regulations. Administer master services agreements, certificates of insurance.
Negotiate, or renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives.
Confer with staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action. Develop alternative sources and or materials.
Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes.
Maintain and review computerized or manual records of items purchased, costs, delivery, product performance, and inventories.
Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures in regards to purchasing.
Provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal skills in communication, contract negotiations, supplier sourcing and supplier development.
Good at dealing with the uncertainty / subjectivity associated with the introduction of new products/components.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries and complaints.
Must be able to calculate figures and amounts for all related purchasing responsibilities.
Must use utmost discretion in all presentations, correspondence and communication with and for staff and top management.
Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office with the ability to build multiple spreadsheets which can be transformed into clear and concise reports.

Experience:
Minimum of ten years purchasing experience in chemical or related fields. Working knowledge of MRP/ERP computerized inventory and purchasing systems. MRO & CAPEX experience is REQUIRED!

Training:
Previous experience and/or training with an MRP/ERP. On the job training will be provided for Company ERP. Microsoft Office Suite and related software packages.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 to 5 years working experience; or 7-10 years commensurate working experience. Industrial certification (e.g. APICS, CPM, CPSM) is preferred.

Energy Trading Attorney – Houston Texas

Our Downtown Houston, TX client is seeking to hire an Energy Trading Attorney on a Direct Hire basis.

The candidate will work with an established Energy company’s legal department to develop and implement processes and best practices related to the trading of physical commodities, including power, natural gas and oil. Experience in electricity or oil and gas is highly preferred.

Qualifications:
3+ years of physical commodities experience in a law firm or in a fast paced in-house legal department.
Must have experience negotiating and drafting financial and physical derivative transactions, including ISDA Master Agreements and the related commodities annexes such as EEI, NAESB, North American Gas Annex, etc.
Must have experience providing legal advice and support to a commodities sales and trading business.
Must be available for some travel.
