Our Brentwood, TN healthcare client is looking for a Training Manager to join their organization in a temporary to possible hire position.

Summary:
Designs, plans, and implements corporate training programs, policies, and procedures in a call center environment.

POSITION DESCRIPTION, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designs, plans, and implements corporate training programs, policies, and procedures.
Researches new training techniques and suggests enhancements to existing training programs.
Works with departmental peers in the design and development of training policy, procedure, modules, content and manuals/materials to meet department needs.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish a variety of tasks and goals.
Leads the activities of the training department and manages the work of direct reports.
Contracts with vendors for employee participation in outside training programs.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area and at least 7 years of experience in training program development.
Training experience in a Customer Service/Call Center environment required.
Familiar with a variety of the educational concepts, practices, and procedures.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, be able to build strong relationships and create peer partnerships to ensure success of Service Center’s performance development initiatives.
Must possess exceptional interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to develop and deliver the training function.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with ability to perform duties with minimal direction.
Ability to direct work priorities, coordinate work assignments, and manage productivity of training staff to ensure timely completion of projects.
Must be flexible, able to function in a fast paced environment, and able to meet scheduled deadlines.
