Our NW Houston, TX client is seeking a VP of Business Development on a Direct Hire basis.
This position requires a driven professional with progressive operational and sales experience in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity specifically with wellhead, frac valves, or pumping/hardware services is required to understand this product and drive the business. Key Performance Objectives for the first year include:
Define sales team structure including territories, reporting, etc.
Coordinate a comprehensive sales and marketing effort in conjunction with manufacturing and aftermarket divisions
Complete building sales team to capacity
Utilize industry experience and contacts to explore opportunities to move into new markets
Work with sister divisions to create a company culture of collaboration and team work
Utilize operational background and ability to see the big picture to take on a more general management approach and drive company vision

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree is preferred but will consider equivalent experience
10+ years of Oil & Gas experience, 4+ in a sales capacity
Experience with wellhead, frac valves, or pumping/hardware services is required
Strong operational experience in addition to sales
Driven individual with collaborative approach to achieving goals
Excellent communication and presentation skills
