Senior Accountant Role: 
The Senior Accountant helps maintain, examine and reconcile the general ledger and all supporting records, documents, and financial data in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and established legal and budgetary requirements. The position may research and recommend proper accounting and financial reporting of transactions in a multi-company environment as well as assist with analytical support, account and sub-ledger reconciliations.
Interacts heavily with owner, board of directors, corporate executives, film executives, departments, clients, customers and key stakeholder to manage all financial planning activities, assist in the development of tools, process and resources to enable a detailed assessment of revenue, spend and profit at key planning milestones.  
Develop, implement and maintain systems, procedures and policies related to the Accounts Payable functions and ensures all vendors are paid per contractual terms and that inquiries and payment issues are responded to and resolved in a timely manner.
Coordinate and facilitate the timely month-end close of AP systems in accordance Corporate schedule. 
Responsible for the overseeing and accuracy of all cash receipts processing in a multi-company environment. 
Assists with system implementations and process improvements related to accounts receivables. 
Responsible for the accounts receivable month end close process. 
Monitors the status of AR efforts on a daily basis and pursue collections when required.
Analyze and resolve discrepancies, reconcile and correct revenue accounts, general journal entries, verification of deposits and postings to accounts receivables. 
Prepare, review, process and record monthly billing (recurring and non-recurring charges), including schedules and footnotes in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and resolve discrepancies as needed.
Reconcile monthly banks statements, monthly cash activity, monthly credit card and vendor statements, e-com accounts as well as research and resolve discrepancies.
Analyze and resolve discrepancies, reconcile and correct revenue accounts, general journal entries, verification of deposits and postings to accounts receivables. 
Review Line of Credit and other business-related loan activity documents to ensure the amortization schedule matches.
Perform, Update, and Consolidate Business overview upon request.
Assist with monthly, quarterly and year-end audits
Compile property taxes and perform analysis over the prior year value for any difference
Review periodic tax charges (sales tax, franchise tax, royalty, etc.) and create related charges.
Ensure accurate journal entries for Fixed Asset, Inventory, and Depreciation accounts are performed on a semi-annual basis.
Monitor and ensure operational/internal controls are in place to maintain IRS and legal compliance. 
Prepare annual tax workpapers for all LLC’ s, S-Corps, and personal filing of the Owner for the CPA as well as review Franchise and Federal returns for all entities.
Prepare and issue form 1099 to vendors.
Prepare annual property budgets.

Senior Accountant Background Profile: 
BA/BS Degree 
5+ years working within Accounting
3+ years working within Property Accounting
2+ years of managerial experience
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
Excellent verbal and written communication
Demonstrated leadership and results orientation
Ability to create new vision and inspire change 
Strategic and tactical business planning skills
Highly entrepreneurial spirit; demonstrated success in growing business volume and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to make it happen
