Busy and growing client located in Irving, TX has an immediate need for a Training Coordinator / Training Administrative Assistant on a contract to possible hire basis and may consider direct hire in the event the qualified candidate is employed.

Training Coordinator / Training Administrative Assistant Role: 
The Training Coordinator / Training Administrative Assistant supports our customers, assists with student enrollment, certification processing, and coordination of classes and materials for the company as well as supports the manager with company events as needed. 
Display a high level of customer service, ensure accuracy of student registrations and records.
internal and external phone calls to ensure they are directed to the appropriate individual in reference to field training and certification.
Reply to general information inquiries and advise prospective students on selection of courses based on their educational and vocational needs.
Listen and resolve any training and certification concerns the customer may have and take corrective measures as needed.
Maintain the schedule of all training classes in the various locations as directed; including, but not limited to: online catalog, internal tracking reports, and within the Learning Management System.
Facilitate exams and coordinate with testing agencies as needed.
Process student data, including: exam grading, creation and distribution of certificates, course results, CEU status reminders and assist new students with account set-up.
Enter class data such as the number of students, creating an electronic file for each class as well as investigate and resolve student issues.
Ensure student records and transcripts remain current. This includes filing of hard copies and electronic filing.
Maintain and manage inventory levels of class materials such as books and exams; process returned class materials.
Perform copying and scanning duties for the team.
Assist fellow staff as needed when preparing to attend trade shows, events, or when meeting a deadline.
Partake in trade shows, events, etc., as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.

Training Coordinator / Training Administrative Assistant Background Profile:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Five or more years of comparable work experience to include prior administrative and/or support roles including 2+ years providing customer service and support
Strong skill set in the use of MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, dealing with both customers and staff
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines, work independently as a self-starter, prioritize and multi-task with an attention to detail
Must type a minimum of 45 wpm accurately
Non-profit, Education and Training Support experience a plus
