Administrative Assistant / Office Assistant
Our client located in Arlington, TX has an immediate need for an Administrative Assistant / Office Assistant on a long-term contract basis and may consider contract to possible hire for the right skill set.

Administrative Assistant / Office Assistant Role:
The Administrative Assistant / Office Assistant will provide support to assist with the day-to-day activities of the Purchasing department.
Create and review purchase orders
Enter product and invoices into system
Scheduling deliveries and tracking container progress for direct containers to our location as well as drop shipments
Follow purchasing procedure and policies as directed by Purchasing Manager
Maintain timely turn-around on all requisitions and purchases to insure adequate delivery of products and services
Partner with Warehouse/Production Manager and Purchasing Manager to maintain inventory levels
Administrative Assistant / Office Assistant Background Profile:
High School Diploma or GED
Proficient in Microsoft Office including the ability to update and maintain information in Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of MAS 200 software a plus
Excellent organizational skills required
Experience in International shipping procedures a plus but not a must
