Excellent opportunity in the construction industry! My client in Denver, CO is looking to hire a Bilingual Accountant on a contract to possible hire basis.

Your Role:
Process weekly payroll, including daily review of time sheets
File tax reports and voluntary deduction reports
Process involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments
Prepare accounting transactions and documents
Prepare special reports for management
Assist with auditing of various payroll data entry
Perform depreciation calculations for fixed assets
Perform PTO accruals
Manages annual open enrollment
Assist with month – end and year – end close
Reviews insurance billings for accuracy and resolves discrepancies with carriers
Background Profile:
Bachelors Degree-REQUIRED
3+ years of experience in Accounting
Bilingual (Spanish)-REQUIRED
Experience with certified payroll reporting
Experience in the General Contractor/Construction industry-Preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong MS Office Skills
Personable, positive and enthusiastic attitude with an ability to deal effectively with people both in the office and at construction sites
Strong attention to detail
