Change Manager Role:
The Change Manager has significant and varied experience leading change on large-scale business transformation projects. 
Demonstrates a strong knowledge of Change Leadership methodologies and tools. 
Leads all Change Leadership activities as part of a cross-departmental Team charged with implementing various Business and Technology-driven initiatives. 
The Change Manager partners with project Leadership and Senior Leadership across the company to lead Change Leadership activities required in the ongoing development and delivery of the Company’ s strategic initiatives. 
Develops strategies and plans for aligning Leaders and all levels of stakeholders to project goals and objectives
Conducts business impact and risk assessments to determine people, process, and technology impacts at the Company, department, and job-specific levels and determine the best approach for addressing impacts and risks
Prepares integrated CL plans for enterprise projects, defining the scope, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, outcomes, benefits and due dates
Develops and executes coordinated, comprehensive communication plans to facilitate clear, consistent, and honest internal and external messaging along all phases of the project
Identifies the training needs for groups impacted by change and partners with the company/department (or equivalent training function) to build and execute enterprise training plans
Develops and executes implementation and post-implementation support strategies for the business
Facilitates the project Teams in developing business continuation plans
Facilitates Organizational Development activities in partnership with the HR Team, including job role design and performance measures as needed for Company or departmental projects
Effectively designs and executes project workshops; has a clear vision of the purpose and outcomes of the session, considers the broad context for the workshop when preparing design and monitors to ensure that agreed outcomes will be met
Provides guidance and assists in planning for project Team effectiveness, including Team structure design and capability transfer approach
Develops and manages the Change Leadership components of the project schedule and budget; reports ongoing status against the plan 
Directs the work of more junior Change Leadership team members, provides feedback on his/her deliverables, and serves as a mentor as needed

Change Manager Background Profile:
The Change Manager will have a Bachelor’ s degree
Master’ s degree preferred
Must have minimum of 7 years work experience
Must have a minimum of 5 years Change Leadership experience partnering at the Executive level on enterprise-wide projects, solving complex problems and driving multiple stakeholders towards change adoption
Ability to work effectively across the organization to develop and implement plans for: vision and case for change, change strategy, Leadership and stakeholder alignment, communication, business/change impacts, and organizational development. 
Able to assess readiness for change and evaluate/drive improvement for overall project team health.
Capable of formulating and implementing plans on highly complex enterprise-wide initiatives. 
Capable of managing other Change Leadership resources who are also assigned to his/her project. 
Must have intermediate or higher abilities in using the Microsoft Office applications
Assumes a high level of responsibility and ownership for assigned projects; requires minimal oversight 
Prepares large-scale, integrated Change Leadership plans, defining the scope, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, outcomes, benefits and due dates
Understands the principles of Change Leadership and coaches Leaders in managing people through change
Understands the principles of Change Leadership and the stages of change acceptance; coaches employees in dealing with a changing environment
Accurately estimates the costs incurred for Change Leadership activities and provides sourcing recommendations as needed
Employs critical/strategic thinking to identify issues, question assumptions, develop comprehensive solutions/recommendations and make informed decisions
Proactively seeks out new and up-to-date information which can be applied to the continuous improvement of the Change Leadership Team and practices
Builds value added relationships and drives high levels of collaboration across the Team
Seeks and utilizes feedback
Expresses ideas clearly in documents which have organization, structure, grammar, language and terminology adjusted to the characteristics and needs of the audience
Exhibits strong oral communication and presentation delivery skills when facilitating discussions
Skilled at workshop design and execution; creates learning opportunities that not only provide for the development of any necessary new skills but which support goals and change stabilization
Understands group dynamics, takes account of different styles and is able to create and sustain a participatory environment to gain involvement/participation of all group members
Earns the role of a trusted advisor/partner by displaying a credible presence, positive image, poise, confidence and maturity in both internal and external situations
Properly manages highly sensitive and confidential information 
Evaluates and balances risk exposure in developing and implementing an approach
Reviews and reports on outcomes and success measures (benefits) at end of enterprise projects; uses learnings to enhance effectiveness of future projects
Connects how projects and programs integrate with Company objectives
Assesses the impact of other changes, considers broad potential consequences of decisions and adapts approach, exploits opportunities or takes action as appropriate
