Our client in Nashville, TN has an immediate need for an Interim Human Resources Generalist / Human Resources Manager on a contract basis and will consider this person for contract to possible hire depending on experience.

Human Resources Generalist / Human Resources Manager Role: 
The Human Resources Generalist / Human Resources Manager is responsible onboarding, compensation, performance management and general HR support. 
Manage all recruitment and selection activities, review resumes, conduct and evaluate telephone interviews and participate in management interviews where appropriate  
Coordinate and manage the onboarding process of new employees and promote best practices in employee retention 
Ensure regular performance conversations and reviews are happening within the organization and promote performance management best practices throughout the organization
Provide competitive market research and prepare pay studies to sustain employment growth  
Act as an agent of change by assisting in the developing, updating and implementing all HR policies and procedures 
Assist in the development of strong action plans that improve employee engagement and hold leaders accountable for ownership of plans and results
Participate in Safety & Health programs and activities, including first-aid training 
Assist in areas of payroll administration 
Oversee and manage company-wide benefits including health, dental, medical & 401k 
Assist with other administrative tasks within Human Resources 

Human Resources Generalist / Human Resources Manager Profile:
Bachelor’ s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
5+ years Human Resources experience within a professional environment   
Knowledge of Human Resources best practices 
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with the Management tea and all departments within the organization 
Ability to take initiative and work constantly to improve current Human Resources practices
