Medical Front Desk Receptionist
Our client located in Spring, TX  is in need of a We have a contract position for a Medical Front Desk Receptionist  on a contract basis for approximately 2 weeks.

Company Profile:
Busy medical office that specializes in orthopedic care and sports medicine.

Your Role:
The Medical Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for performing clerical tasks such as answering phones, transferring calls to appropriate personnel, and answering questions for patients and vendors.
Will also be responsible for scheduling and re-scheduling appointments for patients, and inputting information into EMR system. 
Assist with insurance verification.
Receive and distribute all mail, faxes, and deliveries.
Compliant with HIPAA, OSHA, and company policies and regulations.

Background Profile:
High School Diploma or GED is required.
2+ years of experience working in medical office.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Present excellent telephone skills and customer service skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to promote favorable facility image with patients, physicians, insurance companies, and the general public.
Basic knowledge of ICD-10 coding is preferred.
Experience utilizing Athena is a plus.
Must have excellent computer skills.
Highly organized, ethical, dependable, and flexible.
Ability to make decisions and recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors.
Sitting for long periods of time and standing and moving between offices, light lifting and reaching on occasion.
