Our Irving, TX client is seeking a Lead Accounting Analyst

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following
Prepare revenue and lease operating expense (LOE) accruals, journal entries, and trend analysis for a domestic operating division.
Review and assist in preparing various monthly financial schedules.
Assist with the lease and well equipment inventory control process including SOX documentation and physical inventory counts and reconciliation.
Provide aid to the department by assisting with regular tasks and working on special projects as needed.
Job Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Bachelors degree in accounting.
Five to six years oil and gas accounting experience with experience in revenue and LOE accruals, lease and well equipment inventories, and monthly financial statements.
Preferably a CPA or CPA candidate.
Requires knowledge in the oil and gas industry.
Microsoft Office suite, HFM, Essbase, and ten key by touch.
