Our Houston, TX client is in need of an Account Executive on a Direct Hire basis. The ideal candidate is a professional with prior experience in business development and is comfortable speaking with Managers and Senior-level executives.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manages sales activities to achieve assigned gross profit objectives
Account and territory plans, monthly forecast, coordinating resources to ensure efficient and stable sales, and building partner channel networks.
Excellent knowledge of complex systems products and multi-party negotiations.
Ability to analyze issues and present effective resolutions.
Contact prospective customers to introduce company’s products and services
Sales presentations and ensuring needed resources are available for effective demos.
Maintaining positive customer relationships to maximize product/services satisfaction
Prepare sales reports and maintain sales records.
Develop and manage Partner Channels
Remain informed of company’s products and services in order to more effectively perform sales activities.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree with 3 years systems technology products and services or related experience
Must have a proven ability to successfully close and manage a sale to the attainment of financial and organizational objectives.
Excellent selling, communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time management, decision-making, human relations, presentation and organization skills.
Professional appearance and presentation required.
Strong PC skills, including experience with Excel and sales force automation tools.
Familiarity with HP, Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix, Compellent and Managed Services desirable
