Frontline Source Group – temporary staffing and direct hire firm – is looking for an Android Application Developer for our Dallas, TX client on a contract basis.
Responsibilities:
As an Android Application Developer, you will design cutting-edge applications for smart devices within the Automotive industry
Collaborate with a variety of individuals and teams within the organization to deliver solutions in a timely matter
This role will be responsible for developing new solutions as well as fixing issues and errors with existing applications
Assist in finding effective and efficient solutions for application design and architecture and testing application performance
Identify new solutions for projects that align with client’s goals and objectives for new tools and technologies
Will assist with changes to existing applications as well as development and implementation of new applications
Identifying solutions to fix issues or errors with the applications
Requirements:
HS Diploma Required, College Degree Preferred
Minimum 2 years working with Android SDK (4.2 and up) and Java (Java 6 and up)
Experience with AWS services inside the Android environment (specifically S3)
Strong experience in Javascript/HTML/CSS a plus, but minimal skills are required
Experience using the android network discovery service is a plus as well, but not required
Previously developed apps that are viewable on the app store preferred
