Our Austin, TX client is in need of an Application Development Manager for a direct-hire opportunity.
This position is a senior level technical position that oversees the development and implementation of new client engagements. This role oversees the development projects and manages offshore / onshore teams to achieve project goals/commitments.
Areas of Management / Responsibility:
Monitor time reporting, resource allocation, providing estimates and forecasts for ongoing projects
Technical Documentation & Estimation
Technical SME for BA
Code Management / Change control management
Quality Management
Deployment Management
SQL DB administration and support
Root cause analysis / resolution recommendation
Execute fire drills (forward-thinking preparation for failures)
Ensure all development team members follow best practices and adhere to processes
Technical Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or work equivalent
5+ years experience in related field
ASP.NET, C#
jQuery / JavaScript
WCF/SOAP/RESTful WebServices
UML,XML, SQL
Tools:
Visual Studio 2010 / 2012
SQL Server Management Studio
Microsoft Office & Visio
