Our East Houston, TX client is looking for a Billing and Collections Specialist.
Responsibilities:
Billing Medicaid and Medicare
Billing third party insurance
Verifying charges
Electronic AND Manual billing/collections
Posting client accounts
Research/Analyze collections of current, ongoing, and aged accounts
Assist in workers compensation billing
Handling statements
Initializing collection process up to receipt of charge
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in billing outpatient services
Experience/Knowledge in Medicare FISS System required
Experience in online Texas Medicaid systems
Ability to strongly multi-task and prioritize
Electronic billing experience required
High understand and knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid
Pro-active attitude and team goal driven
