Our West Houston, TX client is looking for a Business Development Manager or a Direct Hire opportunity.

Duties:
Responsible for sales in high-end complex projects as well as developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients.
Require someone who has been engaged in outside sales, has a technical approach to selling, understands long selling cycles and has experience in selling value added solutions.
Will work with engineers, architects and in-house personnel with Midstream and E&P companies to help define project requirements and will be responsible to provide corporate presentations and submit proposals.

Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years outside sales experience in a construction related field calling on professionals (Engineers, Project Managers, Directors of Procurement, etc.)  within Midstream or E&P.
An exposure to pre-engineered metal buildings would be a huge plus.
Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
Knowledge in Acoustics and Noise Control will be a definite asset.
Some travel will be required. (up to 50%)
Compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience.
Good understanding and knowledge of developing potential teaming partners such as general contractors and be able to direct proposal activities necessary in the pursuit of new business.
Must have a “Hunter” attitude and have a successful track record of attaining and maintaining new customers.
