Our Houston, TX client, located in the Galleria area is seeking a HR Workforce Planning Analyst for a Direct Hire opportunity.
Job Summary:
Responsible for compiling and analyzing operational and financial information dealing specifically with human resources. This position will focus mainly on workforce planning and will make recommendations to senior management and develop strategic plans to tailor the company’s workforce development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze the costs and effectiveness of human capital throughout the organization
Perform financial and workforce analysis in areas such as workforce supply and demand forecasting, employee mobility, feeder pools, and costing models
Analyze contingent staffing practices to realize better efficiencies (employee vs. contingent labor)
Reporting infrastructure and dashboards to capture data and measure program and workforce investments
Acting liaison with senior management on headcount issues/concerns that may exist at locations.
Research, troubleshoot and resolve data anomalies
Query data from HRIS and review reports to ensure data integrity
Identify best practices and establish standard protocol regarding manpower projections
Assist with the analysis of compensation issues/concerns as requested
Assist with other related projects and duties as assigned
Will be using reports generated from the system by the HRIS team through ADP. Working knowledge of ADP is not necessary, but could be helpful. Use of Oracle may be beneficial.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
3 to 4 years similar role working with an HR team
Experience as a Financial Analyst or Business Analyst
