Our North Dallas Oil and Gas client is looking for a Contract Administrator to join their team on a contract to hire basis.

Position Objective:
The Contract Administrator is responsible for supporting the delivery and implementation of company’s Commercial contract administration activities.  This includes drafting, internal routing and storage development of gas gathering agreements, operational balancing agreements, sale/purchase NAESB agreements, and other Commercial contracts.

Position Responsiablities:
Responsible for Commercial contract administration for the company, including the development and support of computer systems and databases related to agreements.
Customer service activities include support for the originating, amending and modifying of agreements at the direction of commercial/marketing account owners, sending change of contact/address, force majeure and other contractually required notices, and providing general customer support to resolve customer problems.
Coordinates with internal departments to ensure contract terms are fully incorporated including billing and scheduling.
Works closely with account owners to structure services.
Participate in professional societies and activities related to the gas industry in Texas and Louisiana.
Maintain a detailed front office policies / procedures handbook for assigned area of remit.
Hold a duty to both themselves and those around them to ensure that safe practice is adhered to at all times.
Other duties as required.

Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree is required
1-5 years of experience in oil and gas industry preferred.
Direct commercial experience with a midstream asset, merchant energy company, producer or inter/intrastate pipeline preferred.
Contract negotiation, credit management and risk mitigation experience
Proficiency in computer programs including, but not limited to Microsoft Office products.
Strong communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Strong customer service skills.
Must be very flexible and adjust to changing priorities and direction at short notice.
Must be a self-starter and highly motivated.
Must be able to multi-task in a dynamic environment
