Our North Dallas TX oil and gas client is looking for a Contracts Administrator to join their team on a direct hire basis. 

Position Description:
The Contract Administrator is responsible for supporting the delivery and implementation of company’s Commercial & Business Development contract administration activities.  This includes drafting, internal routing, document retention and TIPS maintenance of gas gathering agreements, operational balancing agreements, NAESB agreements and other Commercial & Business Development contracts. 

Responsibilities:
Responsible for Commercial & Business Development contract administration for company, including the support of document retention processes through a network shared drive and the maintenance of contractual terms via TIPS Scheduling system.
Customer service activities include support for the amending and modifying of agreements at the direction of commercial/marketing account owners, sending change of contact/address notices, generating and sending force majeure, maintenance and other contractually required notices, and providing general customer support to resolve customer problems.
Coordinates with internal departments to ensure contract terms are fully incorporated during the scheduling and billing processes.
Participates in professional societies and activities related to the gas industry in Texas and Louisiana.
Maintains a detailed front office policies/procedures handbook for assigned area of remit.
Hold a duty to both themselves and those around them to ensure that safe practice is adhered to at all times.
Other duties as required. 

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree is required.
1-5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry preferred.
Direct commercial experience with a midstream asset, merchant energy company, producer or inter/intrastate pipeline preferred.
Contract negotiation, credit management and risk mitigation experience preferred.
Experience with TIPS, TIES or another Quorum or Solarc-based program preferred.
Proficiency in computer programs including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office products.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Strong customer service skills.
Must be very flexible and adjust to changing priorities and direction at short notice.
Must be a self-starter, organized and highly motivated.
Must be able to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
Must be able to perform well within a diverse, multi-function team.
