Our client in Dallas, TX Is looking for a Contracts Analyst . The selected candidate will have the following skill set:
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for assisting Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Shipment Tracking, Invoice Evaluation, and reporting of materials being shipped for the Operations Department and other business units.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinates the shipping of all materials and equipment for Operations Department
Schedule transportation activities as per priorities
Coordinates transfer of materials and equipment from the Vendor to the Freight Forwarder
Resolve issues that arise during the delivery process that may delay delivery or compromise shipments
Maintain ongoing vendor relationships to insure effective issue resolution
Reviews invoices to ensure accuracy of charges
Reviews shipping paperwork to ensure its accuracy prior to shipment to avoid Customs delays
Monitor Freight Forwarder to ensure they are in compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act
Assists with Vendor Compliance Program
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, or additional equivalent experience required
Two years logistics operations experience required
Freight forwarding arena experience preferred
Must possess excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Must effectively prioritize multiple projects while consistently meeting deadlines
Some travelling required
