Our Northwest Houston, TX client is looking for a Corporate Receptionist for a contract to hire or Direct Hire opportunity.

Summary:
Answer multi-line telephone to relay incoming and interoffice call
Greet vendors, customers, job applicants, and other visitors in a professional manner
Determine purpose of call and route all calls to appropriate personnel or department
Retrieves messages from voicemail and forward to appropriate department
Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Assist with mail outs and other administrative tasks

Requirements:
Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a professional office setting as a receptionist
Experience running a switchboard with 10 or more lines with heavy call volume is required.
Previous experience with a switchboard system such as Avaya, would be a plus
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including: Outlook and Word
Excellent phone etiquette
Must be organized and able to multi-task
Computer/keyboard experience
Must be able to work independently
Must have excellent verbal communication skills
Professional attitude
