Our LaPorte, TX client is in need of an Contract to possible hire Corporate Recruiter.

Position Overview:
The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization and also provides general human resources support for the region. Successful recruiting will be achieved through development and implementation of local and multi-location recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative ideas. The Corporate Recruiter will play a critical role in the growth plan of our organization by ensuring that we are attracting and hiring the best possible talent. The Corporate Recruiter is also responsible for the retention of employees and general HR functions for the full-life cycle of employment.

Work Experience Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum five years of experience in full lifecycle recruiting, preferably in the refining or petrochemical industry.
An expert level of knowledge in all full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management, and due diligence.
B.S. in Human Resources, Communications, or Marketing related discipline or equivalent experience.
Excellent project management, writing, and oral communication skills are required.
Ability to build search assignment abstracts from client engagement discussions and forms.
Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions including non-exempt and exempt positions.
Demonstrated ability to function/recruit on a national, multi-location level.
Ability to travel as required.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
Knowledge of employment law and practices
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications and the use of email.
Must be Internet savvy and experienced in mining online databases
Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.
Must be able to quickly assimilate technical information and build solutions to the optimal balance of meeting business needs, beating competitors, and operating within financial resource constraints.
Experience with Taleo would be beneficial.

Duties/Essential Functions:
May include but are not limited to:
Confer with management to identify personnel needs, workforce planning strategies, and search assignments.
Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
Leverage online recruiting resources to recruit the very best candidates.
Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
Interview all candidates prior to presenting them to hiring managers.  Effectively utilize behavioral-based interviewing methodologies.
Manage the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Perform detailed reference checking and/or reference analysis on selected candidates and reviews results with hiring managers.
Extend offers of employment to selected candidates under the direction of the hiring managers and within the guidelines of GEM-MTS compensation policy.
Manage the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting.
Provide new employee integration related to Human Resource policy and procedures.
Provide regional Human Resource support as directed by Corporate HR manager.
Implementation and ongoing development of onboarding and new hire program
Support for: Employee handbook, Benefit support, Employee relations and record keeping
