Our Irving, TX client is looking for a CRM Developer on a direct hire basis.
Design, develop, test and deploy custom .NET applications and components relative to web applications and Microsoft Dynamics CRM deployments. Support complex application problems and systems programming involving all phases of system development and maintenance including requirements analysis, project concept development, system planning, and acceptance testing.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and/or modifies custom applications in response to user specifications so that they are user-friendly and operationally sound. Schedules and plans applications software development; establishes time frames for job completion.
Interprets user requirements, provides technical assistance and leadership on programming approaches, and explanation of alternatives and impacts of system design to users.
Works with Business customers to understand latent unmet needs and translate those into technical specifications.
Completes full-lifecycle development efforts which are based on Microsoft CRM 4.0, xRM framework, .NET development technologies and server products.
Keeps up-to-date technically and applies new knowledge to job responsibilities.
Conducts code reviews to ensure adherence to architecture standards, code consistency and maintainability. Employs sound unit and acceptance testing procedures.
Creates and maintains complete user and technical documentation for all programs developed by this position.
Assists in creating, maintaining and administering general systems and departmental policies and procedures.
Assists in preparation of and adherence to department budget.
Assists in preparation of and adherence to backup, database, disaster recovery and contingency plans and procedures.
Attends business and educational meetings as required.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent related experience.
4+ years of application development experience .NET (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET), Web Services, SOAP, XML, SQL Server, MS application blocks.
3+ years of web development experience; HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, XSLT, and XML.
At least one year of experience MS Dynamics CRM 4.0 Development, CRM SKD with Advaed Developer Extensions for Dynamics CRM/xRM framework.
Experience managing projects in Team Foundation Server including code branching.
Strong skills in analysis, design, development and deployment of enterprise application systems.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across layers of an application.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
OTHER DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Custom SQL Server Reporting Services development
Knowledge and experience with Dynamics GP
Knowledge of extending Microsoft products and technologies such as Microsoft SharePoint
Experience implementing and developing with Ektron Web Content Management
Experience developing in an Agile/Scrum environment
Able to schedule own work and accomplish tasks with little supervision
