Our Dallas, TX client is seeking a Desktop Support Technician on a contract to possible hire basis.

This position assists staff in the Dallas office and remote locations with technical support of desktop computers, applications and related technology.  Support includes configuration and deployment of computer systems and peripherals per company guidelines. 

Responsibilities:
Install / Configure Window 7 & XP
Network printer installation
Able to work over the phone with remote users.
Assess functional needs to determine specifications for purchases
Other duties as required.

Qualifications:
1-2 years experience supporting Windows XP & Windows 7 desktop/laptop PC’s.
Experience troubleshooting hardware issues and replacing hardware on PC’s
Experience installing patches on PC’s
Ability to troubleshoot basic network, software and printing problems
Helpful
Familiar with Active Directory
Previous customer service experience
