Frontline Source Group – temporary staffing and direct hire firm – is looking for a Desktop Technician for our North Dallas, TX client on a temporary/contract basis.
Summary of Position:
Provides 3rd-level technical support and consultation for operating systems.
Installs, tests, evaluates and integrates various applications and third-party products, as well as variousrelated and unrelated subsystems.
Conducts and coordinates the analysis, planning and implementation of systems software.
Identifies and resolves complex systems problems.
Researches new technology for potential implementation and presents proposals to management.
Ensures that platform patch management and Anti-Virus solution is kept current.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree a plus
6 months-3 years’ experience in IT related study or field.
Quickly able to grasp and understand new technologies
Excellent troubleshooting and written/verbal communication skills
Problem management and resolution of issues in a timely manner
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to multi-task
Must be a team player with outstanding customer service skills
Ability to maintain professional composure under any/all circumstances
