Our South Houston, TX client is in need of a Drafter/Designer for a Temp to Possible hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a solid background utilizing AutoCAD in Construction or sheet metal, several years experience in a professional capacity, and a strong work ethic.
Primary Duties:
Will work with engineering team to draft and design custom kitchen cabinets.
Requirements:
Must have 3+ years of AutoCAD experience; 3D modeling is a plus
Associates degree or certification in drafting/design
Familiar with drafting standards and techniques
Experience with SolidWorks would be very helpful.
Must have experience working with sheet metal is a big plus
Excellent communication and time management skills
Additional beneficial skills:
Extensive fabrication experience. (i.e. punch press, press brake, plasma cutting)
Sheet metal fabrication or food service knowledge.
Experience with 3D modeling.
Experience with rendering software.
Knowledge of electrical, refrigeration, or plumbing.
Experience with CNC machines (i.e., Press brake, Punch Press, and Plasma).
