Our Dallas client is looking for an Electrical Engineer Support Analyst on a contract to hire basis.
General Job Functions:
Electrical Engineer to utilize ingenuity, creativity and analytical problem solving to troubleshoot electronics used in the security industry. This includes: access control systems, locks, CCTV systems and other security components.
Summary of Position:
Knowledge and/or experience in the Low Voltage and Electrical fields.
Ability to troubleshoot or diagnose a circuit with a Volt-Ohm meter.
Ability to test and measure current in circuit
Ability to read basic wiring diagrams
Ability to write /draw wiring diagrams
Experience with installation of access control system and associated equipment
Experience with video installations and associated equipment
IT and Networking
Basic knowledge in flow of current, circuit voltage, IC Processing, transistors and diodes.
Familiar with process flows, machinery, and electronic equipment.
Analytical skills for statistical data analysis.
Electrical design/troubleshooting of analog, digital and mixed signal circuits.
Electrical design/troubleshooting 2D drafting skills.
Writing detailed engineering documentations.
Providing support to manufacturing on electrical, mechanical and software design issues.
Develop assembly work instructions for electronic devices
CAD or equivalent drafting software
Applications MS OFFICE (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) basic internet skills, etc.
Requirements:
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering
1+ years of experience required
Ability to travel domestically and internationally
