Our Austin, TX client has a need for a contract HR professional to assist with several projects and key initiatives for the organization. The ideal candidate will be an HR professional with a “generalist” background who has a specialty focus in Learning & Development.

Duties:
Provide support for Learning Management Software “LMS” implementation process
Training design and development
o Revamp of New Employee Onboarding “NEO” program and creation of department orientation programs
o Behavioral Interviewing
o Multigenerational differences
Assist w/building Competency Model
o Map competencies to job profiles
Research or develop assessment tool and define process to gage leadership “readiness”
Develop forms to support HR processes
Assist in creating HR processes/policies for data integrity
Assist w/revamp of performance management tools
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training to employees and leaders
Experience implementing an LMS, preferably with “Learn Center” platform (Learn.com)
Experience developing curriculum, both presentations and participant materials
Strong attention to detail with ability to see “big picture”
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Ability to transform concepts, ideas into materials easily understood by others
HR generalist experience with focus on performance management, HR operations, competency models
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong facilitation skills
Good organizational skills and strong sense of urgency
Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel, Word and Power Point
Capable of managing multiple demands and priorities simultaneously in a fast paced environment
High degree of initiative and self-motivation, a customer service orientation and approach, and the willingness to be resourceful and flexible in accomplishing tasks
This would be a part-time contract position (25-30 hours/week). Duration being at least several months.
