Operations Support Specialist – Irving TX

Our client in Irving, TX Is looking for an Operations Support Specialist for a contract to possible hire.  This position is with a premier technology organization and offers high growth potential!  The selected candidate will have the following skill set:

Position Description and Responsibilities:
Work with E-Commerce Product Manager to support internal and external operations and communication for our growing product line
Assist in identifying opportunities to utilize emerging technology that will increase efficiency and flexibility
Responsible for the end-user on boarding experience, including reviewing new user requests, setup and track user accounts, login and password administration, and configure handheld devices to communicate with company servers
Receive customer support phone calls
Develop and implement creative solutions to known end-user challenges, including leveraging the knowledge of other team members and resources, to reach appropriate resolution
Assist with creating and delivering training, documentation, processes, policies and procedures to the Client Support team and end-users aimed at leveraging existing IT systems to their full extent
Administer knowledge including creation of new user manuals, maintenance of old ones as details change, and removal of unnecessary processes and procedures

Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
1+ years professional experience required
Excellent communication (written and verbal), troubleshooting and analytical skills required
Excellent time management, issue management, and prioritization skills required
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the following required: Windows 7/8, desktop hardware, and common desktop software required
Demonstrated excellent customer support abilities
Demonstrated ability to work independently; must be self-motivated and goal oriented
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapid changing environment
Sensitivity to new technology opportunities, always looking for new tools for the business
Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance concurrent projects under inflexible time commitments
Windows 7, Microsoft Office or CompTIA A+ or equivalent preferred
Experience with computer technologies and concepts such as FTP, hard drive directory structure, DOS and user permissions strongly preferred
Understanding of mobile devices such as I-Pod Touch, I-Phone, bar-code scanners preferred
Proficient in business software, including MS Outlook, Microsoft Office, and user flow applications preferred
