Our Dallas, TX manufacturing client is looking to hire a Human Resources Generalist on a direct hire basis.
Responsibilities:
Recruits and hires for non-exempt positions
Administers benefits programs to include but is not limited to medical, dental, short and long term disability, COBRA, 401(k) and life insurance
Administers the leave of absence programs and has advanced knowledge of the FMLA
Identifies and analyzes personnel problems and makes recommendations for changes in procedures and policies
Assists employees, supervisors, and managers by explaining and interpreting and translating established policies and procedures
Creates and generates management and audit reports as requested and as needed to assure accuracy of duties
Administers the E-Verify process and assures compliance with this government program
Processes payroll and related duties as back up for the Payroll Manager
Aids with work related injury process as point of contact when injuries occur
Other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
3-5 years directly related experience; manufacturing is a big plus
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are strongly preferred
Strong MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
ADP experience required
E-Verify experience a plus, but not required
Lean Six Sigma a plus
Ability to handle multiple assignments and projects simultaneously and independently
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact with various levels of employees
Must be detail-oriented
