Our SW Houston, TX client is in need of a Inside Sales Customer Service Representative on a temp to possible hire basis.
Summary:
The overall responsibility of this position is answering sales and billing-related email and phone calls. The CSR must analyze and answer applications based questions regarding sales quotes in a timely manner.
Duties:
Answer purchase inquiries regarding pricing, applications, and delivery.
Recommend product based on application information.
Recommend product based on competitor product construction.
Assist with troubleshooting product quality and product applications concerns.
Process quotations forms and send quotations to customers in a timely manner.
Follow up with qoutations correspondences accourding to follow up procedures.
Process Test and Evaluation products in accordance with Test and Evaluation procedures.
Process and analyze monthly sales reports.
Help coordinate special events, promotions, and seminars.
Occasional Travel.
Serve as back up for order and order acknowledgment processing.
Skills needed:
Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
Able to promptly answer sales and billing related email and phone calls.
Self-Motivated, detailed-oriented, and organized.
Creative thinking abilities.
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
Required Experience:
2+ years experience in Inside Sales.
Industrial background required.
Chemical background a plus
