Frontline Source Group – temporary staffing and direct hire firm – is looking for a Medical Biller for our Plano, TX client on a contract to possible hire basis.
General Job Functions:
Seeking full time medical biller. Applicant should have extensive experience with the complete billing process to include insurance verification, submission of pre authorization and insurance collection.
Summary of Position:
Collects delinquent accounts by establishing payment arrangements with patients; monitoring payments; following up with patients when payment lapses
Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures
Enhances billing department and company reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Must be able to work in a high volume fast paced environment
Requirements:
High school diploma required
2+ years of medical billing work experience required
1+ year of physician office setting work experience required
EMR experience. Athena experience highly preferred
Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred
