Our Irving, TX client is seeking a medical billing and coding professional with Radiology experience. Ideal candidate will have experience in a small medical practice taking on Office Management duties as well as billing in radiology.
Job Summary:
In this position you will be responsible for performing billing, collections and reimbursement services of claims and duties in radiology. You will ensure that all claims billed and collected meet government mandated procedures for Integrity and Compliance.
Job Requirements:
- Office management experience
- 3+ years of experience working as a medical biller/collector electronically and manually
- Experience working for a small medical office
- Medical billing/coding software experience required
- Knowledge or experience with Empiric is ideal
- Previous experience in radiology is required
- General radiology AR Account knowledge required.
- Experience sending out claims electronically and posting payments to patient accounts
- Some college or trade school preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Practical experience with Word, Excel and Adobe.
