Medical Office Receptionist – Austin TX

Our Austin, TX client is looking for a Medical Receptionist for a two to three month contract.

Greet patients and maintaining awareness of patient status
Answers multi-line phones and schedules appointments (new or established) in a medical environment.
Schedule and confirm follow up visits in office or on telephone.
Prepare and coordinate all information relevant to patient visits to office
Keep waiting room tidy.
Perform additional duties as deemed necessary.

Education/ Experience Required:
High school diploma.
1 year medical front office experience
Strong customer service skills
Medical terminology knowledge a plus
Strong planning, organization, and communication skills are essential.
Must be self-directed, efficient, and able to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Strong computer skills (Word/Excel/PP/Outlook)
Energetic and outgoing personality
