Frontline Source Group – temporary staffing and direct hire firm – is looking for a Microsoft Access Project Consultant for our Dallas, TX client on a temporary/contract basis.
General Job Functions:
The overall objective of the project is to streamline the application process by providing the capabilities to capture and query data captured from all applications and to generate statistical reports.
Summary of Position:
Provide data entry forms for entering data from the application and data obtained through phone screens and interviews
Navigate through the database via a menu system (i.e., a menu for entering and modifying data, printing reports, and querying the database)
Track disciplines for which an applicant may be best suited (i.e., Pretrial, Court Services, or Post Conviction, Clerical, Human Resources, Information Technology, Administrative Services)
Identify applicants by languages spoken, education and degree, race, gender, and disability
Search database by name (i.e., first name or last name) or announcement number
Archive applications after a specified period of time, with the ability to review archived data
Upload supporting documentation or attachments pertaining to a specific applicant
Generate management reports
Identify and separate LEO and non-LEO applicants
Allow for conditional formatting for any YES answers under background information
Automatically format data and provide data validation
Provide contextual information or tool tips on fields
Requirements:
High school Diploma required
2+ years of experience
Advanced level skills and knowledge in creating Microsoft Access databases
Experience with schema, table structures, relationships, etc.
