Our Mt Juliet, TN client is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to join their team on a Direct Hire basis.
Job Description:
The applicant will be the point of contact for new loan applicants once they are in the process of getting their loan. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of the mortgage industry. They offer a great team and a very fun and fast paced environment in which to work and grow!!
Job Responsibilities:
As a Mortgage Processor, you will be responsible for staying in contact with the borrower (and Referral sources) throughout the loan process, and understanding DTI and credit requirements. Experience in the mortgage industry is required!
Additional responsibilities for the Mortgage Processor include:
Updating borrowers on their loan status
Gathering needed conditions from borrowers that the underwriter has asked for
Running DO/DU – automated underwriting
Giving great customer service and always exceeding expectations
Job Requirements:
As a Mortgage Processor, you will have to have at least one year of prior mortgage industry experience including extensive knowledge of automated underwriting (DO) and analyzing credit reports. You must also love customer contact and be a GREAT TEAM PLAYER!
Additional requirements include:
Organized , able to multi-task and work well in a team environment
Knowledge of Calyx Point and Avista a plus
Must have a great attitude and personality
Enjoy conversing with clients and real estate agents
